Provides steps for switching between organisations in Microsoft Teams on a PC or Mac when you are invited to multiple Teams environments.
Steps:
If you’ve been invited to a Microsoft Teams environment belonging to another organisation, you can easily switch between organisations within the Teams app. Here’s how to do it:
Open Microsoft Teams on Your PC or Mac
- Launch Microsoft Teams and sign in with your main Office 365 account credentials.

Locate Your Profile Icon
- In the upper-right corner of the Teams window, click on your profile picture or initials. A dropdown menu will appear.

Look for Other Organisations
- In the dropdown menu, you’ll see a list of all the organisations you have access to. Each organisation’s name will be listed below your profile information.

Switch to the Desired Organisation
- Select the name of the organisation you wish to switch to. Microsoft Teams will refresh, and you’ll be taken to the Teams environment for that organisation.

Repeat to Switch Back to Your Original Organisation
- To switch back to your primary organisation or another team environment, repeat the above steps by selecting your profile icon and choosing the desired organisation from the dropdown list.

Enable Notifications for Each Organisation
- When switching between organisations, be aware that notifications will only appear for the organisation you are actively viewing. To keep track of messages from multiple organisations, check each one periodically.

Note:
If you don’t see another organisation listed, ensure you’ve accepted the invitation email sent to you by that organisation. You may need to log out and back in or refresh the Teams app if the organisation does not appear immediately after accepting the invitation.
