Describes steps to troubleshoot and resolve Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors.

Note the Error Code:
- Write down the error code (e.g., “IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL”) as it may help identify the issue.

Boot into Safe Mode:
- Restart and press F8 during boot for Windows 10, or hold Shift while selecting Restart for Windows 11, then choose Safe Mode.

Check for Driver Issues:
- Open Device Manager and check for any devices with warning icons. Right-click to update or roll back drivers as needed.

Run a Memory Test:
- Type Windows Memory Diagnostic into the Start menu, select Restart now and check for problems to test for memory issues.

Use System Restore or Uninstall Recent Updates:
- For both versions, go to Settings > Update & Security > View update history > Uninstall updates to remove recent updates if needed.
