Objective:
Explains how to change the login password on a Windows 11 PC when using a local (non-Microsoft) account.

Steps:

Step 1: Open Account Settings

  1. Click the Start menu and select Settings (gear icon), or press Windows + I on your keyboard.

  2. In the sidebar, click Accounts.

  3. Select Sign-in options from the right-hand pane.

Step 2: Change Your Password

  1. Under Password, click the Change button.

  2. Enter your current password and click Next.

  3. Enter a new password, confirm it, and add a password hint (optional but recommended).

  4. Click Next, then Finish to save the changes.
