Objective:
This guide helps users resolve common printing issues such as paper jams and connectivity problems.
Steps:
Paper Jam
- Power off the printer.
- Open the printer’s paper tray and carefully remove any jammed paper, avoiding tearing it.
- Check the rollers and remove any small paper fragments.
- Once the jam is cleared, close the tray and power the printer back on.
Printer Not Connecting
- Ensure the printer is turned on and connected to the network.
- Reboot both the printer and your computer.
- Check the printer’s network settings on its display panel to confirm it is connected to the correct network.
Printer Offline
- For Windows:
- Go to Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and select See what’s printing.
- Ensure Use Printer Offline is not checked.
- For macOS:
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the printer, and ensure it is not set to Offline.

- For Windows:
Low Ink or Toner
- Check the printer’s display or the Printers & Scanners menu for low ink/toner notifications.
- Replace ink cartridges or toner as needed.
