Objective:
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to perform a hard reset (force restart) on any generation of iPhone. A hard reset can help resolve issues like a frozen screen, unresponsive apps, or software glitches.

When to Use a Hard Reset

A hard reset is useful when:

  • The screen is frozen and unresponsive.
  • The phone is stuck in an app or on a blank screen.
  • Standard restarts are not working.

A hard reset does not erase any data or settings from the phone. If you continue to experience issues after a hard reset, you may need to consider restoring your iPhone or contacting IT support for further assistance.
